Introduction

I made this to go with waffles, but it would be delicious on ice cream, pancakes, or really anything looking for something sweet! Mine ended up a lovely peach shade, with red flecks from the peach peel. Ingredients

1 peach, washed and diced (not peeled)
    Juice of 1 small lemon
    1/4 cup Chardonnay
    2 tbsp sugar
    1/4 tsp cinnamon
    1 tsp cornstarch (optional)

Directions

Put peach, lemon juice, chardonnay, sugar, and cinnamon in a small sauce pan. Bring to a boil over medium heat and boil for ~10 minutes, stirring often to prevent sticking or burning. If the sauce is not as thick as you'd like, mix 1 tsp of cornstarch with ~1/2 tbsp water. Add to sauce and mix well. Let sit for a few minutes to cool and thicken. Enjoy!
