Introduction

I no longer buy hummus, this is fantastic. Great for dipping veggies or pitas. Great sandwich spread (my favorite is whole wheat bread, hummus and cucumbers) I no longer buy hummus, this is fantastic. Great for dipping veggies or pitas. Number of Servings: 8

Ingredients

    1 can of chickpeas (16 oz) drained and rinsed
    1/3 cup of almond butter (or 5 tablespoons)
    3 Tablespoons of lemon juice
    2 cloves of minced garlic
    2 tablespoons of olive oil

Directions

Combine all ingredients in a blender or food processor. Blend until smooth and creamy. May need to add 1 tsp of water at a time to blend to desired consitancy.
