Introduction

Ingredients

Cranberries- 1 lb (2 cups)
~Simple Syrup~
Water- 2/3 cup
Sugar (Granulated or Raw)- 1/2 cup
Directions
PREP: chop each cranberry in half. Boil the water in a small saucepan and mix the sugar until dissolved.
Put the mixture in a large bowl and let the cranberries soak for two hours.
BAKE: Strain cranberries, saving the simple syrup. Place halved cranberries on a baking sheet.
Bake on 175 for one hour.
Remove baking sheet and equally distribute the rest of the simple syrup over the cranberries.
Bake on 175 for three hours.
Remove baking sheet and transfer cranberries to a plate (they will stick.)
They should be ready for use after setting in a cool, dry place for 12-24 hours.
