Ingredients
-
Dough:
1 pack yeast
1 C warm milk
1/2 C granulated sugar
1/3 C margerine
1 tsp salt
2 eggs
4 C flour
Filling:
1/2 C Splenda brown sugar
2.5 TBSP cinnamon
1.3 C softened margerine
Icing:
1.5 C confectioners sugar
21/2-3 TBSP milk
1/2 tsp vanilla
Directions
1. Dissolve yeast in warm milk. Add it to sugar, margerine, salt, eggs and flour. Knead. Cover and let rise 1 hour.
2. Flour counter space, hands and rolling pin. Roll out dough to aprox. 21" x 16" and 1/4" thickness.
3. Once rolled out, cover in melted margerine. (I use a marinating brush) Sprinkle brown sugar and cinnamon. I use my fingertips in a circular motion to blend it together, you can use a spoon or whatever you are comfortable with.
4. Cook at 400 degrees for 10-15 minutes (until the edges are golden brown)
5. While rolls are baking make icing. Put the confectioners sugar in a bowl and add 2.5 T milk and the vanilla. Add milk/sugar as needed to get to the right consistency.
6. Remove cinnamon rolls and ice while still warm. (I put the icing in a ziploc bag with the tip cut to ice the rolls)
