Ingredients

    1/3 cup shortening
    1/2 cup sugar
    1 egg
    1 1/2 cups flour
    1.5 teaspoons baking powder
    1/2 teaspoon salt
    1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
    3/4 cup lowfat milk

    !/4 cup powdered sugar
    1 teaspoon cinnamon

Directions

Cream shortening with sugar. Whisk in the egg until smooth. Add flour, salt, baking powder and nutmeg along with the milk. Mix until smooth. Grease 12 regular size muffin cups, and fill about half way. Bake in a 350 degree oven for 25 minutes, or until the tops are golden brown.
Mix powdered suar and cinnamon together in a bowl. While muffins are still warm, roll in powdered sugar mixture.
