Ingredients

4 links of JennieO Turkey Italian Sausage, Cut into thirds (hot or sweet)
2 Red peppers sliced
1/2 medium onion sliced
1 28 oz can of whole peeled tomatoes crushed after opening
6 garlic cloves roughly chopped
1 Tbsp. olive oil
1 Tbsp. Garlic Powder
1 Tbsp. Oregano dried
1 Tbsp. Basil dried
2 Hard rolls - sub style
1/4 c fresh parsley, chopped
Directions
Heat 2 tbsp. oil in large skillet on medium heat
Add sliced peppers, onions and chopped garlic, Saute for 2 minutes
Add Turkey sausage, brown for approx. 5 minutes
Pour can of tomatoes into bowl and crush with potato masher, add garlic, basil and oregano.
Add tomato mixture to skillet with peppers, onions and sausage, cover and cook for approx. 20 minutes on medium low heat until sausage is fully cooked.
Place sub style rolls into oven at 350 and bake until warm and crusty.
Slice rolls in half lengthwise and then in half across to make 2 smaller rolls
Sprinkle chopped fresh parsley onto sausage mixture
Spoon Sausage and Peppers over open roll, spilling over the front and eat open face style.
