Ingredients
-
2 slices Sara Lee Classic 100% Whole Wheat bread
2 Tbsp Smart Balance, Light Buttery Spread
2 Slices White American Cheese
Pam Cooking Spray
Directions
Makes 1 Sandwich
Lightly spray the pan with Pam.
Spread 1 Tbsp of Smart Balance Buttery Spread on each slice of bread. Put the pan on a burner over medium heat (about 4 or 5 will do). Place one of the slices of bread, butter side down, onto the pan and place the 2 pieces of cheese on top of that. Then place the 2nd piece of bread on top of the cheese butter side up.
After about 30 seconds, flip the sandwich. Then place a pot lid (or other type of heat-safe covering) on top of the pan. (This allows for the cheese to melt properly)
Keep flipping the sandwich every so often until the cheese is melted and the bread is to the darkness you like. (Personally I like each side at a golden brown)
