Ingredients

    1 1/4 cups steel cut oats

    1 tsp baking powder

    1/4 cup apple sauce


Directions

Mix oats and baking powder. Add apple sauce. Roll or pat into thin layer. Cut into 12 rounds. Transfer rounds onto an ungreased baking sheet with a spatula. Bake at 375F for 10-15 minutes.

Taste great plain or with cheese slice or spread with a little cream cheese or preserves.

    Very Good
    Simple, easy recipe. DH is the cook in our family, so this is the very first time I've made a Spark recipe. Would help novices like me if it mentions to start with COOKED steel cut oats. DH helped me interpret. My kid just asked for more! - 1/18/10
