This is a delicious, healthy and satisfying. This is a delicious, healthy and satisfying.
Number of Servings: 12


    93% lean ground turkey
    93% lean ground beef
    1 can light red kidney beans
    1 c each, diced: onion, green pepper, carrots, cauliflower, celery
    2 cans tomatoes
    1 envelope chili mix
    1 bottle chili sauce


Brown turkey and beef, drain fat, Add all other ingredients and simmer for 2 hours. The vegetables sort-of blend with the meat and the chili sauce gives it a sweet tangy taste. You could use all turkey if you wish. Makes about 12 1-cup servings. Separate into one cup containers, freeze. Makes a quick satisfying healthy lunch.
