Introduction

This is a nice fall and winter side that my family enjoys with pork or keilbasa.and rye bread. It also would be nice complement to corned beef.
Smacznego!

Ingredients

    1 head napa cabbage shredded (or 1 bag coleslaw mix)
    1 apple (core and cut into bit size pieces, I like Granny Smith)
    1 cup thinly sliced onions
    1 1/2 cups apple cider
    1/2 teaspoon caraway seeds

Directions

Heat pan to medium-high, and add the apples and onions. (You can use a 1 Tbsp of oil, but I dry sauté.)
Cook, stirring occasionally, until the apples and onions are golden brown, 3 to 4 minutes.
Add the cabbage, caraway seeds, and cider
Bring to boiling; reduce heat, cover and simmer stirring occasionally, until cabbage is tender.

* Salt and pepper to your taste
* peel apples or not
* tweak to your liking.

Makes 4 very generous servings.
