Introduction
This is a delicious chocolate chip cookie if you like them crunchie. It is NOT a soft chewey style cookie. I think I got this recipe from the Hershey chocolate chip package years ago. Ingredients

1 c margarine, softened
1 c sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp vanilla
1.5 c flour
1.25 c quick oats (not instant)
1 tsp baking soda
.5 tsp salt
.5 tsp cinnamon
2 c semi-sweet chocolate chips
Directions
Preheat oven to 375 F
In large bowl, cream together softened margarine and sugar. When well combined, beat in eggs and vanilla.
In separate bowl combine flour, oats, baking soda, salt & cinnamon. Stir into creamed mixture.
Stir in chocolate chips.
Drop from medium spoon onto ungreased cookie sheet. Bake for 12 - 14 minutes. Should be slightly golden brown on bottom. Top of cookie may still look a little soft until it cools. Remove from cookie sheet and allow to cool on cooling rack.
Makes about 48 cookies, but can get as many as 60 if using slightly smaller portions
