Introduction
This is a fantastic granola recipe from Angela at ohsheglows.com (I omitted 1/2 c sesame seeds from the dry mix due to allergy). You can get creative and change up the add-ins if you wish. Ingredients

Wet:
4 T brown rice syrup (I used maple)
1 T avage nectar (I used honey)
1 T coconut oil (I used smart balance spread)
2 T applesauce
2 T peanut butter
1/3 c packed brown sugar
Dry:
2.5 c old-fashioned oats
1 c almonds, roughly chopped (I used 1/2 c)
1/2 c walnuts, roughly chopped
1/2 c raw sunflower seeds
2 T ground flaxseed
2 T grated or flaked sweetened coconut
1 tsp cinnamon
pinch of nutmeg
3/4 tsp salt (I used 1/2 tsp)
Add ins:
1/3 c dried cranberries
1/3 c raisins
1/4 c pepitas (pumpkin seeds)
Directions
Mix all dry ingredients together in large mixing bowl. Combine wet ingredients together in saucepan and over medium heat, bring to a boil. Cover and simmer for 7-10 minutes, stirring frequently. Remove wet ingredients from heat and add to dry ingredients; stir well. Make sure mixture is well combined. Spread mixture onto baking sheet lined with parchment paper or silicone liner. Bake at 300 degrees for 45 minutes, stirring every 15 minutes. Remove from heat and allow to cool 30 minutes. Stir in add-ins. Store in air-tight container in refrigerator for up to 6 months.
