Ingredients

    Granulated Sugar, 2 cup (remove)
    Light Corn Syrup, 1 cup (remove)
    Butter, salted, .25 cup (remove)
    *Peanuts, raw, 2.5 cup (remove)
    *Arm & Hammer Baking Soda, 1.5 tsp (remove)

Directions

butter 2 large baking sheets. Buter sides of heavy saoucepan. Combine sugar, cory syrup, butter and 1/2c water. Stir, bring to boil. Cook over medium low heat to 275d. Add peanuts, stir in and cook to 295d.
Remove from heat and quickly stir in baking soda.
Pour on cookie sheets, tipping and pulling to desired thickness. Let cool, break up and store in air tight containers.
NOTE: we usually eat lots more in a serving than this indicates. Will make 4-5 small gift bags.
