Ingredients

    2 cups flour
    4 tsp baking powder
    1/2 tsp baking soda
    1/2 tsp cream of tartar
    1/2 tsp salt
    2 tsp sugar
    1/2 cup margarine
    1 cup milk

Directions

Put butter in freezer to get hard. When butter is hard, use a grater to grate it into the bowl. Add the rest of the ingredients except milk. Combine. Next add the milk. Mix well. Flour work surface. Pat dough out to about the thickness of a finger. Cut into biscuit shapes. Bake at 350 until bottoms begin to brown, about 10 minutes. Makes approximately 20 biscuits.
