Ingredients
-
1 lb chicken breast, cut into bite-size pieces
1 jar Bertolli Garlic Alfredo sauce
1 pkg Whole wheat linguini
1 10 oz package of frozen spinach
1 Tablespoon Olive oil
1 small can of mushrooms
Italian seasoning
Salt (for the pasta)
Directions
1. Start out by heating up your water for the pasta. Sprinkle some Italian seasoning over the chicken breast.
2. Heat the olive oil in the skillet, add chicken and cook until the chicken is white on all sides. While that is cooking, cook the spinach in the microwave for 2 min (if you haven't already thawed it out). Drain the liquid off of the mushrooms. Add the spinach and the mushrooms to the chicken when it is ready.
3. When the water for the pasta is boiling, add the pasta and salt (if desired) to the water.
4. When the mushrooms and spinach are hot, add in the Garlic Alfredo sauce and mix well. When the mixture begins to bubble reduce the heat. Stir frequently.
5. When the pasta is ready, drain. Place pasta into a big mixing bowl. Pour the chicken/spinach mixture over the pasta and mix well. Enjoy!
