Ingredients

    One roll Pillsbury French loaf
    One cup Apples chopped
    1/4 Cup Splenda
    2 tbsp cinnamon

Directions

Open the French Loaf and unroll so it is a flat sheet of dough.

Cut into 12 equal strips about 2 inches wide and 5-6 inches long.

In a bowl mix 1/8 cup of Splenda and 1 tbsp of cinnamon together.

Sprinkle strips with cinnamon/Splenda mix and set aside.

Peel and chop an apple and add to it 1/8 cup Splenda and 1 tbsp cinnamon. Mix gently with fingers to evenly coat the apples.

Spread about a tbsp of the apples on each strip leaving an inch of dough on each end.

Roll each strip into a small "bun" and set coiled side up on a cookie sheet sprayed with cooking spray such as Pam.

Once all are rolled and placed on the sheet, sprinkle the remaining cinnamon/Splenda mix on the top of each bun.

Place in the oven at 350 Degrees for 25-30 minutes or until golden brown.

Makes 12 mini-buns.

Let cool and enjoy with a cup of tea!
