Introduction

This is a modification of the MANY recipes out there. I like to pour the milk on afterwards, so I just make the whole thing with water and THEN have the milk as a separate ingredient. Number of Servings: 6

Ingredients

    3 Cups Oats
    1 tsp Baking Powder
    Heaping tablespoon cinnamon
    1 tsp nutmeg
    1/3 Cup molassess
    1/3 cup canned pumpkin
    1 tsp Vanilla
    3 tbsp flax (ground)
    1 cup golden raisins

Directions

Preheat oven to 350F.

Combine the dry ingredients first (mix thoroughly) and slowly incorporate the wet ingredients, stirring until it is a thick batter (should pour slowly but should NOT be mold-able like clay)

Spread into a 9-inch pan and bake for 20-30 minutes until a fork comes out clean.

This should be eaten in slices and can have milk poured on top or a pat of butter :)
