Ingredients

    2 cups dried apples
    2/3 cup sugar
    1 1/2 cup water
    1/4 tsp cloves
    1/2 tsp cinnamon

    pastry for 2 9"-pies

Directions

Cook apples with sugar, water, and spices. Roll out pie dough and cut into 6 inch circles. Put 1/3 cup filling on each circle and fold in half. Press around edges to seal. Bake at 375.
