Ingredients

    1 lb. ground turkey
    1/3 c frozen chopped onions
    1 1/2 c tri-color peppers (fresh or frozen)
    2 garlic cloves
    1/2 tsp salt
    1/4 tsp. ground black pepper
    1 (14.5 oz) can petite diced tomatoes drained
    1 1/2 c brown rice (cooked)
    1 tsp. worcestershire sauce
    1 (8oz) pkg sharp cheddar cheese (reduce fat)
    1 (15 oz) can tomato sauce

Directions

Saute turkey, onions, peppers and garlic for 10 min. or until brown & veggies are tender. Drain off excess fat and season with salt & pepper. Stir in the tomatoes, rice worcestershire sauce, and Italian seasoning. Remove from heat: stir in 1 cup cheese. Spread mixture evenly into a 13 x 9 baking dish and top with tomato sauce and remaining cheese. Bake uncovered 20 min. let stand 5 min.
