Introduction
These are humble, but everyone who tries them, loves them! For years I have made these with wheat germ, and raisins, until my daughter was diagnosed with kidney disease. So, we added dates to the mix instead. You can personalize some of the ingredients, to suit your & your loved ones tastes. These are humble, but everyone who tries them, loves them! Ingredients

1/2 cup milk
1 Tbsp canola oil
1/2 cup apple sauce
1 1/2 cups mashed bananas
1 1/2 cup flour
1/2 cup old fashioned rolled oats
3 tsp baking powder
1 tsp salt
1 1/2 tsp cinnamon
1/2 cup chopped pecans
1/8 cup dates
1/4 cup raisins
Directions
Preheat oven to 400*. Mix together milk, egg, oil, apple sauce, and mashed bananas. Add flour, oats, baking powder, salt, and cinnamon. Mix until just combined. Add nuts, dates and raisins. Pour in to muffin pan, sprayed with Pam.
Bake at 400 degrees for 22 minutes, or until muffin tops bounce back up when pressed.
* 1/2 cup wheat germ can be substituted for 1/2 cup flour.
