Introduction
Brewed coffee with steamed low-fat milk, sweetened with Sugar In The Raw. Brewed coffee with steamed low-fat milk, sweetened with Sugar In The Raw.Number of Servings: 1
Ingredients
-
1 cup brewed coffee
1 cup 1% milk
3 tsp. Sugar In The Raw
Directions
Brew coffee, using about 2 TBSP coffee grounds per 1 cup of water.
For the best tasting coffee, I highly recommend using a french press to brew the coffee. Just measure out the coffee into the press, pour in the steaming hot water, and stir. Place the lid on and let brew for 4 minutes before pressing the filter.
While waiting for the coffee to brew, measure out the milk into a large mug or bowl. Heat in microwave on the beverage setting, or on high for 1.5-2 minutes. Once the milk is heated through and steaming, stir in the raw sugar. If you want a bit of foam, whisk the milk with a wire whisk.
When the coffee is finished brewing, pour it into a large mug and add the milk, topping with foam, if desired.
Serving Size: Makes 1 16-oz serving
