Introduction

Taco meat w/spinach sandwiched between layers of cornbread. Inspiration from a Taste of Home Recipe. Taco meat w/spinach sandwiched between layers of cornbread. Inspiration from a Taste of Home Recipe.

Ingredients

    1 lb Ground Turkey
    1/3 cup chopped onion
    1 garlic glove
    1/4 cup taco sauce
    1 package frozen spinach
    1 packet taco seasoning
    1/2 cup shredded cheese
    2 packages corn bread/muffin mix
    2 eggs
    2/3 cup milk

Directions

-Cook onions, garlic and meat just like you would if you were making tacos.
-Add the spinach and taco sauce at the end
-Mix one package of cornbread according to instruction and put in a pan.
-Sprinkle the meat on top of the cornbread
-Sprinkle on the Cheese
-Mix the other package of cornbread according to instruction and layer on top of the meat/cheese
-Bake for 30-35 min at 350 degrees
