Ingredients

    1 small head of green cabbage
    2 medium potatoes (I like yukon gold)
    3 small carrots
    2 medium onions
    3 stalks of celery
    4 cloves of garlic
    2 tbsp pickling spice, no salt

Directions

Roughly chop all ingredients and place in a crockpot with 2 tablespoons of pickling spice tied in a piece of cheesecloth. Boil all day or until you're hungry, but for at least an hour. Add dried split peas for even more nutritional value.
