Ingredients
-
Red Ripe Tomatoes (cherry tomatoes), 500 grams
Green Olives, 200 grams
Olive Oil, 0.5 tbsp
Green Peppers (bell peppers), 3 grams
Salt, 1 dash
Directions
Cut the tomatoes into small dices.
Cut the green olives into halves (use olives without grain).
Pour the olive oil on top, add the pepper and salt.
Mix thoroughly, let it rest for 10-15 minutes for better taste.
Serving Size: Makes 3 cups = 3 servings.
Notes:
If the olives are very salty, skip the salt.
Use premium olives and tomatoes for the excellent taste. For a pizza, any olive would do, but here it is important.
The greatness of this salad lies in it's simplicity - the olives and tomatoes complement each other very well, and the pepper makes it interesting.
