Number of Servings: 10

Ingredients

    1 lbs ground turkey
    1 cup lentils
    2 cups carrots diced
    3 large potatoes diced
    1/2 cup frozen or fresh peas
    1 cup tomato sauce
    5 cups chicken stock

Directions

Brown the ground turkey in a large pot.
Add all other ingredients and simmer untill lentil and vegies are tender. Season to taste.
You can also use water and chicken or vegi buillons and can peas.

Makes 10 large bowls of delicious servings that wil surely fill and warm you up.

    This is a good basic recipe. Made it with no sodium chick broth, but I think it definitely needs a little salt. Browned the turkey meat w/ 2 cloves of garlic, and next time I will add onion. I also added parsley and basil to the stew because it needed a little more. I will definitely make again! - 2/1/10
