Ingredients

    * Spinach, fresh, 2 cups
    * Cucumber (with peel), 1 cucumber (8-1/4")
    * Celery, raw, 3 stalk, medium (7-1/2" - 8" long)
    * Ginger Root, 3 slices (1" dia)
    * Parsley, 1 cup
    * Apples, fresh, 2 medium (2-3/4" dia)
    * Lime Juice, 1 lime yields
    * *Lemon Juice, .5 lemon yields

Directions

Put all ingredients into a blender and blend until smooth.

    Tastes very clean and refreshing... the blend until smooth part is tricky. Using a juicer is best...if using a blender you may need to make in batches with a little water or apple juice and then mix all together at the end. - 1/24/09

    the recipe I got called for 4 oz of spring water and a handful of ice cubes, but no lime juice. I used fuji apples. I will make this once a week. - 6/2/10

    O.K.
    I used a Granny Smith apple and I didn't like the flavour it added. I also had to add about 0.5 cup of water to help it blend. I will try this again but next time I will skip the apples and use a beet or something. - 6/2/09
