Introduction

This is sooo good. It uses up the last of my fridge and pantry. Especially nice on a cold day. BONUS: It fills you up when you're trying to count calories. This is sooo good. Ingredients

    1/2 green cabbage, sliced
    1 large can diced tomatoes
    1 can Herford Corned Beef
    1 cup frozen corn
    1 cup frozen chopped green beans
    1 cup frozen peas
    1 onion chopped
    1 litre low sodium chicken broth
    water as needed

Directions

n a large stock pot, combine cabbage, tomatoes, corned beef, corn, onion and broth. Bring to a boil then reduce heat and simmer, covered, for 2 hours. If needed, add water occassionally to stop from drying out.

Add peas, beans and simmer for 1/2 hour more. Serve with home made bread

Serving Size: makes 12 servings of 2 bones with meat
