Ingredients

    1.50 lbs pork loin
    Ground pepper to taste
    Kosher salt to taste
    2 tbsb olive oil
    1/2 tbsp garlic powder
    1/2 tbsp onion powder
zest from orange, about 2 tsp
1 small orange, juiced (about 1/2 a cup)
    1 tbsb honey
    1 cup aged balsamic vinegar
    1 tsp dried thyme
    1 tsp dried sweet basil

Directions

Rinse pork loin and remove all fat. Pat dry and season with fresh ground pepper and kosher salt to taste. Heat olive oil on stove top over medium heat in an oven safe pan. Brown pork loin on all sides. Mix together the orange zest, more is better, the orange juice, honey, balsamic vinegar and the dried spices. Remove pork loin from pan and add in the balsamic mixture stirring to remove any bits from the bottom of the pan. Return pork to pan, braise meat with balsamic mixture and cover and place in oven at 325. Cook for 35 to 40 minutes, periodically braising meat with sauce. Once meat is done you can reduce mixture on stove top while meat is resting. This is for 2.5 ounce servings.

    Very Good
Made this for dinner tonight and it was excellent! I had raspberry balsamic vinegar, so I did half cup of that and half cup of regular balsamic. Super great recipe, thanks! :) - 7/14/12
