Ingredients

    1 ripe avocado
    6-10 dates
    1/2 tsp vanilla
    1/4 cup cocoa powder
    1/2 cup water

    *note - I ran low on dates and used 6 dates plus 1 Tbsp date sugar, which is what I used in the calculations

Directions

Put all ingredients except for water, in the blender. Blend. drizzle water in and mix until it resembles a pudding. Blend until smooth and creamy. If the avocado is not ripe, it won't get as creamy, so use a soft one!

I've been eating this in small quantities over cherries.

Serving Size: makes a cup and a half; serving size is 1 Tbsp

    Incredible!
    This was delicious! It tastes like a thick, chocolate mousse or pudding. I love that it's made entirely of whole foods without any artificial sweeteners. - 10/30/12
