Ingredients
-
V8 Spicy Hot (full 46 oz bottle)
2 cans kidney beans (15 oz light or dark red)
1 large can petite diced tomatoes (28 oz)
2 packets of McCormick Chili Seasoning Mix
3/4 cup on green onions diced
.25 cup of green peppers
1 pound 93% lean ground turkey
Directions
CROCK POT DIRECTIONS:
Turn large crock pot on high and combine V8 juice, kidney beans, tomatoes, green peppers, onion, and chili mix packets, stir well and cover. Meanwhile...brown ground turkey then add to other chili ingredients and let cook in crock pot for at least an hour, stirring occassionally.
STOVE TOP DIRECTIONS:
In a large pot over medium-high heat combine V8 juice, kidney beans, tomatoes, pepper, onion, and chili mix. Bring to a low boil (bubbling lightly) and reduce to a simmer while preparing the turkey. Stir occasionally.
Cook ground turkey (I prefer to grill it in a large "patty" then chunk it up into my chili if I'm making it this way) Add to chili, let simmer on low for about 15 minutes stirring occassionally.
