Introduction

This bread truly lives up to its name, great for toasting with jam, or even better, honey! Sucks the toppings up so that every bite is perfectly flavoured. Number of Servings: 14

Ingredients

    2 c. flour
    ½ c. non-fat dry milk
    1 pkg. yeast (dry active)
    2 tsp. sugar
    1 tsp. salt
    1 egg
    1 c. water

Directions

Put all together and beat thoroughly.
Let rise 1 hour or until doubled.
Stir down and place immediately into a greased loaf pan.
Let rise 45 minutes.
Put into 400 degree oven 10 minutes, then 375 degree for 30 minutes.

    I love this bread. I'm one that love few ingr. and as few steps as need be. So this bread is just for me. Next I'm going to try to put things in the bread like garlic and onions!!mmmmmmm - 4/20/08
