Introduction

A unique tasting fall harvest soup. A unique tasting fall harvest soup.
Number of Servings: 6

Ingredients

    1 (15 oz.) can pumpkin
    1-1/2 cup reduced sodium chicken broth
    1 cup lowfat milk (2%)
    1 tsp ground cumin
    2 bay leaves
    fresh sage & popcorn for garnish

Directions

Mix first 5 ingredients and bring to simmer over medium heat. Simmer for 10 minutes.
Season to taste with salt and pepper.
Garnish with popcorn, fresh sage snips and pumpkin seeds.

    Like the others I added onion, garlic and cinamon. Also added a touch of nutmeg. It was delicious. I liked the simplicity of the recipe. - 9/29/12

  • I will try this recipe. I cleaned my canned food cabinet and found a can that the best buy date was 12 so I will use it. I have all the ingredients on hand and will add the spices others suggested. I will great to eat during the cold wet winter. - 1/17/19
