Introduction
I use home-raised very lean ground beef, because my beef raisers don't care much for ground turkey. :)I have included the brand names that I like. Feel free to substitute, but know that this changes the nutrition information. I use home-raised very lean ground beef, because my beef raisers don't care much for ground turkey. :)

Number of Servings: 12
Ingredients
-
2 lb extra lean ground beef
8 oz part skim shredded Mozzarella Cheese
4 oz Medium Cheddar Cheese
15 oz can Black Beans
2 Tbsp La Victoria Green Taco Sauce
1 medium onion, chopped
3 cloves of garlic, peeled and minced
20 oz bag Mission Tortilla Rounds
Directions
Brown the ground beef in a skillet with your preferred seasonings. I use oregano, cilantro and chili powder. Because the beef I use is extremely lean, I saute the onions and garlic with the meat. If there is any grease, drain the meat.
Add black beans drained and taco sauce to the meat mixture.
If I am feeding small people, I place the ingredients separately on their plates and let them mix or not. (The three year-olds in my family does not like her food to "touch".)
For adults, layer the chips, meat and cheese on a foil-lined pan. Place in a hot oven just until the cheese is melted.
Serve with additional chopped onion, tomatoes and guacamole for guests to add.
Serving Size: Serves 12 for dinner, more for snacking
Number of Servings: 12
