Introduction

My mother used to make this for me when I was a little girl. I love it warm or cold-- the sweet-tart flavor is just so darned yummy! Ingredients

    1 pound rhubarb, cut into 1" pieces
    1 pound strawberries, hulled & sliced
    1 medium banana, sliced
    1 tsp. lemon peel
    1/4 c. Splenda for Baking (more or less, to taste)
    1/4 c. water (omit if using frozen fruit)

Directions

Combine all ingredients in a heavy-bottomed saucepan. Cover and cook gently over medium to medium-low heat for 5-7 minutes or until fruit is tender (more time may be needed if using frozen fruit).
