Ingredients

6 c. Romaine, cleaned and spun dry, torn/cut into bite-size pieces
1/4 c blue cheese crumbles
1/4 c bacon crumbles
1/4 c chopped hard-boiled egg
8 grape tomatoes
4 ounces cooked, diced chicken breast
Directions
Prep time is for preparing vegetables and for chopping pre-cooked eggs, chicken, and bacon. Choose a fantastic and flavorful blue cheese. Lettuce and flavorful toppings have lots of moisture.. dressing is optional, but see note below.
Directions:
Arrange lettuce on large plate or serving platter.
- Place tomatoes on one corner/side at edge of plate.
- Place bacon on opposite side (at edge of plate opposite tomaoes).
- Place blue cheese at edge of plate between tomatoes and bacon.
- Then, place diced egg at corner/edge of plate opposite the blue cheese. Beautiful!
Serve alone or with your favorite salad dressing. See my homemade ranch dressing recipe for a flavor-packed dressing to take this over the top!
