Ingredients

6 oz thin spaghetti (or fettuccine)
4 slices bacon
3 cloves garlic
1/2 C frozen peas
1/3 C parmesan cheese
Directions
Bring salted water to a boil in large stockpot. Cook pasta according to package directions. Meanwhile, cook bacon on a glass plate or stone in the microwave on HIGH until crispy (approx 5 minutes). Remove from plate and reserve 1 Tbsp bacon drippings for later use. Reserve 1 cup of pasta water for later use; drain pasta.
In same stockpot, heat bacon drippings on medium heat. Press garlic (or finely mince) and add to drippings; cook 45-60 seconds or until garlic is fragrant. Add pasta and reserved pasta water to stockpot. Cook 2-3 minutes, or until most liquid is cooked out. Add frozed peas to pasta mixture, cook 1-2 minutes or until peas have thawed.
Chop bacon and grate Parmesan cheese. Add to pasta mixture and toss.
