*Port, Tawny Port (per ounce), 16 oz
    Honey, .25 cup

    Orange Peel, 1 tbsp
    Vanilla Extract, 1 tsp

Turn off the heat and cool the figs in the syrup. Serve the figs in a bowl with their juices spooned over.

    O.K.
Strange! Asterisks are never explained, and 8 serving, .5 serving, etc. at the end of some ingredients is very unclear. Recipe asks for 1 med. fig, but says it provides 6 servings of 2 figs @. Strange! - 5/23/12
