Ingredients

    4 cups white long grain rice (or any other rice)
    5 cloves of garlic (adjust to taste)
    1 tbsp canola oil (can use different oil)
    8 cups water
    1 tbsp salt (adjust to taste)

Directions

chop garlic finely
fry together the garlic, salt and rice only until rice is coated in the oil
add water (does not need to be hot) and bring to a boil
reduce heat and let it cook. The rice is ready when the water is gone
TIP - if the water is gone and the rice is still too hard for your taste, simply add a little water from the tap and continue cooking!

Serving Size: makes about 10 one-cup servings
