Ingredients

    1.25 99% fat free ground turkey
    1/4 lb. jimmie dean sausage, sage flavor
    1 egg
    1/2 cup oatmeal
    1/2 sweet bell pepper of choice
    1 red onion, chopped
    2 cans healthy request cream of mushroom soup
    3 cloves garlic, minced
    salt and pepper to taste
    1 tsp. poultry seasoning
    1/2 tsp. seasoning salt (optional)
    4-6 red potatoes, cut and cubed

Directions

Mix the ground turkey, sausage, oatmeal, egg, onion, bell pepper and garlic well. Add salt and pepper to taste, poultry seasoning and seasoning salt. Form into meatballs and fry on med high heat until cooked through.
Meanwhile, have your taters boiling for mashing. When the meatballs are almost done add 2 cans cream of healthy request mushroom soup and 1 1/2 cans of water or fat free mild. Pour over meatballs and simmer for 10-20 minutes until you have a rich gravy. Serve meatballs with mased taters and gravey. Steamed broccoli is our favorite veggie with this meal but any steamed vegetable will do. A chilled cinammon sweetened applesauce makes a great dessert!
