Ingredients

    1 pound dry pinto beans soaked
    20 oz lean ground turkey -cooked
    1 lb round steak-browned
    1 red bell pepper, skin removed & chopped
    1 med onion chopped
    6 cloves of garlic minced
    4 cups of water
    1 tsp kosher salt
    1 tsp black pepper
    1/4 cup chili powder
    1/2 tbsp cumin
    2- 14.5 oz. cans of diced tomatoes no salt added
    1 6oz. can tomato paste

Directions

Pre-soak beans. Cut up steak & brown in pan. Remove excess liquid.. Cut up bell pepper, onion & garlic. Cook up in pan with ground turkey. Once browned, drain liquid. Add all ingredients to crock pot & cook on high for 6 hours.
makes approx 14.5 cups
