Ingredients

2 cups walnuts, raw
1 cup sesame seeds, raw
1 cup dried cherries
4 T coconut oil
3 T dark honey or agave
1/2 t salt
Tips
next time i might try adding some coconut flakes, cinnamon, vanilla and/or dark chocolate pieces. also might try mixing with rasins/dates instead of cherries.
if you're doing low-carb, i don't really think you have to add all the honey (you can use some or try not adding any--i have a feeling the mixture will hold without it and probably still taste pretty good)
I imagine adding some protein powder would be good in this recipe and would be a more balanced snack.
Directions
toast walnuts and sesame seeds and cool. Place walnuts in a food processor and pulse a few times. Add cherries and pulse until it becomes a sticky ball. Then stir in remaining ingredients. press into an 8x8 pan and refridgerate. slice into bars. will keep for one week in the fridge.
