I have been making this for years, but with the addition of a dash of vanilla essence. I suggest you to try it. It will really enhance the flavor! You will never haave it another way! - 7/14/09

I have been making this for years...ever since I had it on the street in Mexico. I don't add any sugar or sweeteners because usually the fruit is sweet enough.
I also have not added water or ice cubes but will try it next time.

    Very Good
I just tried this. Variation: I used 1 cup sugar-free almond milk and 2 cups of water. I also added a splash of vanilla extract as others have here. I put four drops of Sucralose sweetener because the cantaloupe was diluted. It was quite good and I would make this again. Thank you! - 7/27/19
