Introduction

This is a wonderful quick and easy dessert when blueberries are in season. Or better yet, when on sale, buy lots of blueberries and freeze to enjoy this dessert year round. This is a wonderful quick and easy dessert when blueberries are in season. Or better yet, when on sale, buy lots of blueberries and freeze to enjoy this dessert year round.

Ingredients

    3 cups washed fresh blueberries (or frozen)
    1/4 cup of sugar
    1 lemon, juice of
    1/4 cup butter
    1/3 cup sugar
    2/3 cup flour

Directions

Place 3 cups washed fresh (or frozen) blueberries in a 9x9 " baking dish. Sprinkle with sugar and lemon juice.

Blend together in a separate bowl butter, sugar, and flour. Sprinkle butter-flour-sugar mixture over berries. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes. Serve warm or cold. Great with vanilla ice cream on top.

Serving Size: makes 12 pieces
