We make these every year for parties, Christmas, whatever! It's always a hit! We make these every year for parties, Christmas, whatever! It's always a hit!
Number of Servings: 72

Ingredients

    1 cup Butter (or butter flavored Crisco, solid)
    1 cup Brown Sugar, packed
    1/2 cup sugar
    2 eggs
    2 teaspoons vanilla
    2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
    1 teaspoon salt
    1 teaspoon baking soda
    M&M's (6 per cookie)

Directions

Beat together sugars and shortening until light and fluffy in a mixing bowl. Blend in eggs and vanilla. Blend in baking soda and salt. Add flour. Mix well. If dough is sticky, chill until firm. Drop dough by rounded teaspoon full onto greased cookie sheet. Press 6 M&M's onto each cookie. Bake 9 minutes at 375 degrees Fahrenheit until golden brown. May need to turn cookie sheet half way through baking.
