Number of Servings: 2

Ingredients

1 medium banana cut in pieces
    2 tbsp. ground flaxseed
2 cups canned water-packed peaches, frozen (you may substitute any other frozen fruit EXCEPT bananas)
1 1/2 cups fresh spinach (baby spinach is best--if using mature, remove the large stems)
1/2 cup unsweetened regular almond milk
1/2 cup fruit juice (we use pineapple, but any fruit juice you like will do)

Tips

See substitutions in the ingredient list that can be made to fit your tastes, however the banana gives the smoothie its creamy texture. Makes an excellent on-the-go breakfast, and it's a great way to get kids to eat spinach!

Directions

Place all ingredients in a high-powered blender. Blend until smooth and creamy. Pour into two tall glasses and enjoy.
