Number of Servings: 15

Ingredients

    1 2/3 cups of flour
1 1/2 Tbsp. pumpkin pie spice
    1/4 tsp. baking powder
    2 large eggs
    1 stick melted butter
    1 cup sugar
    1 tsp. baking soda
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1 cup plain pumpkin
    1/2 cup milk chocolate chips

Tips

Sometimes I add the whole bag of chocolate chips to make the muffins more moist/sweet.

Directions

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease muffin pan or use muffin cups. Mix dry ingredients thoroughly in a small bowl. Break eggs in a larger bowl, beat until blended, add pumpkin and butter and mix thoroughly. Stir in chocolate chips. Add dry ingredients and fold with a spatula until moistened. Scoop batter evenly into muffin cups. Bake 20-25 minutes until puffed and springy to touch in center. Cook on rack.
