Introduction
Less fiddly than a pumpkin pie but just as yummy; if not YUMMIER! Everyone asks for the recipe when I bring this somewhere. Ingredients

Base:
1 box yellow or white cake mix minus 1 cup
1/2 cup butter, melted
1 egg
Filling:
3 cups canned or fresh pureed pumpkin
2 eggs
1 tbsp pumpkin pie spice
2/3 cup milk
1/2 cup brown sugar
Topping:
1 cup reserved cake mix
1/2 cup sugar
1 tsp cinnamon
1/4 cup butter, cut into pieces
Directions
Preheat oven to 350 F.
Grease a 9x13 inch pan.
Prepare the topping: Mix the cake mix (don't forget to take out 1 cup of mix for the topping!) with the melted butter and egg. Spread evenly in bottom of greased pan.
Mix filling ingredients thoroughly until smooth; pour over base.
Combine the 1 cup of cake mix with sugar and cinnamon and then cut in butter until mixture resembles coarse meal. Sprinkle evenly over filling.
Bake for 40-50 min, or until topping and base are lightly golden and the filling is not wobbly.
Serving Size: Makes 24 2 inch pieces
