Introduction

I recently discovered that the "skinny" caramel macchiato isn't actually sugar free because of the caramel drizzle (which is what makes it a *caramel* macchiato, right! GRRR!)....so i found something that is close enough and made myself this sweet protein shake.

Ingredients

    Regular Coffee
    Benefiber
Coffee Mate French Vanilla Sugar Free liquid creamer
Protein Shake, Body Fortress Chocolate Super Advanced Whey Protein
Smucker's sugar free caramel flavored sundae syrup
Sugar Free Hills Bros. Cappuccino Double Mocha

Tips

obviously most of this is to taste. i clearly like super sweet coffee but you may skip the sucralose or even the caramel if you wanted.

the caffeine content is pretty up there because there is caffeine in the coffee base and the SF mix. you can reduce it by using decaf coffee or even water. i will update with amount once i hear back from the Hills Bro company, i can't find the data for the mix online.

if you wanted a more purely coffee flavor you could use vanilla protein powder or even flavorless with their SF french vanilla flavor. i haven't tried that one but i'm tempted :)

OH and you can use your preferred protein powder. mine has one g of sugar per scoop, so there is that.

OH and the benefiber is a good plan for me specifically, you can leave it out.

Directions

I throw everything but the caramel into my blender bottle
close it (this part is very important!)
shake until mixed! (make a dance out of it)
add as much ice as you want
drizzle caramel sauce on top

sometimes i shake it up one more time after that to mix in the caramel and other times i just let it settle naturally.

enjoy! (i drink mine straight from the bottle)

you can use a blender but i find them too loud and i suppose a spoon but that isn't advisable.
