Introduction

This is a quick recipe for a chocolate fix with less sugar than the original. This is a quick recipe for a chocolate fix with less sugar than the original.
Number of Servings: 6

Ingredients

    1.25 cups splenda
    1 cup flour
    7 T unsweetened baking cocoa
    2 tsp baking powder
    .25 tsp salt
    .33 cup canola oil
    1.5 tsp vanilla
    .5 cup packed brown sugar
    2 T chocolate chips
    1.25 cups hot water

Tips

Can be served with ice cream or cool whip. Calories not figured into recipe.


Directions

Mix .75 cup splenda, flour, 3 T cocoa, baking powder, salt, canola oil, and vanilla together. Place in a 2 quart glass casserole dish or bowl. Sprinkle with chocolate chips. Mix remaining splenda and cocoa with brown sugar together sprinkle over top of chocolate chips. Pour hot water over top of mixture. DO NOT MIX. Place casserole dish in microwave and cook for 5 to 6 minutes on high. Let sit in microwave for 3 minutes. Then serve with the sauce ladled over top.
