Clove of Garlic, 1 serving
LO Salt (UK) (a pinch weighs 0.25 grams)
Olive Oil, 1 tbsp
Plain white flour (UK), 8 g
Canned chopped tomatoes, 400 gram(s)
Asda tomato puree, 2 tbsp
Chilli powder, 0.5 tsp
Oregano, ground, 1 tsp
Beans, red kidney, 241 grams
Bay Leaf - whole leaf, 1 serving
Cumin (ground), 2 tsp
Corriander, 1 tsp
Cocoa powder, 1 tsp
Splenda Low Calorie Sweetener, 1 tsp
Milk chocolate (UK), 30 g
Tips
Serve with green vegetables or a green salad.
Also can be served with basmati rice or on top of baked potato with a tbsp of sour cream.
Directions
Peel onion and chop it finely. Crush garlic with a little salt
Heat olive oil in saucepan add onion and garlic then beef. Fry slowly until beef is browned.
Stir in flour and cook for one minute.
Add can tomatoes, tomato puree, chilli pwder, oregano, bay leaf, ground cumin, corriander powder, cocoa powder and sweetener.
Bring to boil stirring and add chocolate. Cover and simmer for 30 minutes, stirring from time to time. Add a little water if mixture is too thick to stir.
Add beans and cook for 5 minutes more.
